Job summary

BHS Corrugated North America in Knoxville, TN is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. You will inspect precision-machined rolls and cassettes, verify dimensions and tolerances, read engineering drawings, and ensure every product meets our quality standards before shipment.

• Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges). Read blueprints and GD&T; SAP or ERP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on manufactured components.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and overall product quality using precision measuring equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Document inspection results and communicate quality issues to production.
• Identify non-conforming parts and support corrective actions.
• Help ensure products meet BHS quality standards before shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety procedures.

Quality Inspector – Manufacturing

Location: Knoxville, TN

BHS Corrugated is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Knoxville. In this role, you'll inspect precision-machined corrugating rolls and cassettes throughout the manufacturing process to ensure every product meets our high quality standards before it reaches our customers.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings (GD&T experience is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Basic computer skills; SAP or ERP experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
