Job description

This position is responsible for ensuring the quality of products before they are moved into the warehouse. The role includes making quality-related decisions, such as placing products on hold or issuing nonconformities based on final acceptance criteria. The inspector will utilize documents like specs, sampling plans, and acceptance limits, following established procedures.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
• Estimated Start Date: 7/14/2025

Responsibilities

• Work closely with production to streamline final product transfer from packaging to warehouse.
• Approve finished products by verifying specifications, scanning barcodes, conducting visual and measurement tests, and confirming re-work.
• Document inspection results, summarize re-work and waste, and input data into quality databases or spreadsheets.
• Review and provide feedback on process improvement documents.
• Maintain measurement equipment through proper operation and calibration.
• Validate and implement the use of Measure Fix within the Quality department.
• Ensure a safe work environment at all times.
• Participate in educational opportunities and stay updated with technical publications.
• Complete related tasks to support Quality and organizational goals.
• Provide backup support to the Quality Technician as needed.
• Participate in department meetings and Lean initiatives.
