Job summary

BioHorizons Implant Systems in Hoover, AL is seeking a Quality Inspector I who works as part of the Quality team to inspect device components and finished devices following established procedures. The role requires communicating inspection results to Quality leadership, R&D and Materials Management, and may include filing quality documents, special assignments, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previoushand-held inspection instruments (micrometer, calipers, etc.) preferred
• Experience with computerized record-keeping (e.g., documents, drawings) preferred
• Computer literacy with standard software applications, and demonstrates excellent reading, writing and verbal communication skills
• Requires vaccination against Hepatitis B or signed declination form

Quality Inspector I

The Quality Inspector I, works independently as part of the Quality team inspecting parts. It is the responsibility of the Quality Inspector to communicate inspection results to management as well as Research and Development and Materials Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Quality Inspector I, as directed by Quality supervision or management, is responsible to:
