Ehrhardt Tool & Machine is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 1st shift to inspect products throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring they meet customer specifications and quality standards. You will conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections, operate precision measuring equipment, and document results.

You will collaborate with operators and manufacturing personnel to maintain quality and reliability, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of machine shop inspection experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, ISO 9000 quality standards, basic metrology, blueprint reading, GD&T, and total quality systems.
• Experience operating CMMs, visual comparators, and other inspection equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing personnel.

Responsabilités

• Perform first-piece and startup inspections.
• Conduct in-process inspections and ensure operators, machinists, and deburring personnel check their own work.
• Perform final inspections before parts are plated or shipped.
• Accept or reject parts based on customer specifications and inspection results.
• Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMMs); editing or programming experience is a plus.
• Initiate Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs) for rejected material.
• Verify and/or calibrate measuring equipment and document results.
• Work cooperatively with team members and manufacturing personnel.
• Follow the company's documented quality system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Quality Control Inspector – 1st Shift

You'll perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections, operate precision measuring equipment, document inspection results, and work closely with manufacturing personnel to maintain product quality and reliability.
