Job summary

Flowtec Group is hiring a Quality Inspector at its Northern New Jersey onsite site. The role covers incoming, in-process, and final inspection of precision machined components and pump assemblies, with a focus on GD&T and ISO 9001 quality systems.

You will program and operate CMMs, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure conformance of pump and rotating equipment parts in a collaborative shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in quality inspection in precision machining or manufacturing.
• CMM experience; programming preferred.
• Strong GD&T and blueprint reading proficiency.
• Hands-on with precision measurement instruments.
• Experience in ISO 9001 quality systems; military/government spec experience a plus.
• Pump or rotating equipment component experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and final parts.
• Perform dimensional inspection using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and indicators.
• Program and operate CMM for complex part verification.
• Complete first article inspections on new and repaired components.
