Job summary

Biomerics is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for 1st shift to perform inspections of materials, components, and finished devices. The role requires reading specifications, identifying inspection status, and using calibrated instruments and fixtures to ensure products meet release standards.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma/GED, basic math, legible handwriting, and attention to detail. Prior manufacturing/quality or medical device experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; experience in manufacturing or quality is a plus.
• Experience in a medical device environment is a plus; basic math and reading print skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of materials, components, sub-assemblies and finished devices per specifications.
• Identify product and inspection/test status; read and understand specifications and drawings.
• Use and maintain hand tools, calibrated instruments, measuring equipment, microscopes, and fixtures.
• Maintain controlled environment integrity and follow room procedures.
• Assist in processing non-conforming material throughout the manufacturing process.

Job Description

This entry level role will perform the inspection process, ensuring that the product is inspected to established specifications before placing it into useable stock during our night shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of materials, components, sub-assemblies and finished devices at all phases of manufacturing per released specifications.
• Identify the product, including the inspection and test status.
• Read and understand specifications and part drawings.
• Utilize and maintain hand tools, calibrated instruments, measuring equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures.
• Maintain controlled environment integrity by using proper attire and adherence to control room environment practices and procedures.
• Assist in processing non-conforming material throughout the manufacturing process.
