Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or inspection role.
• Familiarity with weld or fabrication inspection is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred.

Dimensional Inspector

Quality Inspector

Our client, a well established manufacturing company in business for over 50 years

Responsibilities:

* Conduct inspections on parts, assemblies, and fabrications according to engineering drawings and job card specifications.
* Set up and perform dimensional checks using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers (including hold mics), tape measures, and scales.
* Set up and carry out non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures on components; experience with MT, PT, VT, RT, or UT methods is highly desirable.
* Accurately document inspection results and determine part disposition based on findings.
* Collaborate with customer representatives during inspections at designated review points.
* Maintain organized inspection records and documentation for all completed inspections.
* Monitor material identification both in production and storage areas to ensure proper handling and segregation of scrap versus in-process materials.
* Support receiving inspection by working closely with shipping/receiving personnel to verify that incoming items meet all required specifications.

* Proficiency with email communication tools is required.
