We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team in Austin.

Location: Austin, TX

Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.)

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Release of first articles according to procedures and standards.
2. Review electronic assemblies and subassemblies for adherence to procedures and standards.
3. Conduct process audits and inspect materials from suppliers to verify compliance with SolarEdge requirements.
4. Generate and update reports of findings and ensure closure of corrective actions.
5. Measure critical dimensions.
6. Inspect the quality of assemblies and reworked parts.
7. Verify and validate the execution of tool and equipment maintenance programs.
8. Use inspection templates, measuring instruments, and Go/noGo tools to assess product quality.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma required.
2. Minimum of 3 years experience in similar roles within electronic assembly companies.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
4. Ability to work on shifts.
5. Attention to detail and high organization skills.
6. Strong analytical skills.
7. Effective communication across organizational levels.
8. Focus on continuous improvement.

Additional Skills:

1. BS degree or college courses preferred.
2. Certifications in IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, IPC-7011/7021, J-STD-002/003 preferred.
