OPW in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our onsite team. You will perform in-process and final product quality analyses and inspections, interpreting results against established specifications and regulatory requirements.

Working from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators and micrometers, you will help prevent production issues and reject nonconforming parts, with a focus on accuracy and traceability.

Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications. Identifies on-going quality issues, prevents potential production issues, and makes suggestions for improvement. Uses various measuring devices, testing equipment, predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to accept or reject products. May work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.. A Support 2 requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
