SSP Fittings Corp. is seeking a Quality Inspection & Metrology Supervisor (AS9100) to lead the QA inspection and gage calibration teams for aerospace and industrial components.

You will plan workflows, ensure compliance with AS9100, and coach a skilled team to deliver accurate inspections,mate data, and timely disposition of nonconforming material.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Quality Assurance inspection in an industrial component manufacturing environment.
• 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with AS9100 Quality Systems is desired.
• Experience creating PPAPs preferred.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing practices and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspections for First Piece, In-Process, Final, and Auto-Inspection.
• Coordinate disposition of nonconforming material (NCMRs) with Production and stakeholders.
• Drive calibration compliance and maintain accuracy of quality records.
• Coach and develop a high-performing QA team; conduct reviews and training.
• Schedule MRT disposition meetings and uphold 6S in QA area.
• Maintain adherence to AS9100 procedures and safety policies.
• Support calibration lab activities and handle customer RMAs as needed.
