Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect arriving, in-process and finished products for quality, on the shop floor and on-line. The role includes First Article Inspections (FIA) and conformity checks, with a minimum 1 year of related experience and a HS diploma or GED.

Onsite work is required, with a comprehensive benefits package offered. There is FAA program oversight, and candidates will be working in a structured production environment dedicated to aerospace and defense

What You Will Do

• Works under general supervision to assist with inspecting arriving, in-process and completed products for quality.
• Performs basic to moderately complex in-process, final bench and product feature inspections.
• Inspects actual products on the floor and on-line.
• Performs basic to moderately complex First Article Inspections (FIA) and conformity inspections.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
