Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Quality Inspection/Final Test II in Ironton, OH, to perform functional testing of completed products and verify conformance to all specifications. You will inspect electrical components, operate test bays and equipment, troubleshoot and repair faulty parts, and ensure units meet NEC and UL/CSA standards, coordinating with other teams to maintain quality.

This role follows a WIN shift pattern with four days on, three off, three on, four off, offering a stable and predictable

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection and testing of electrical products.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and test equipment.
• Familiarity with NEC/UL/CSA standards.
• Comfort working a WIN shift pattern and rotating schedule.

Join Our Team as a Quality Inspection/Final Test II! Location: Ironton, Ohio Solar 6a-6p. Enjoy Our Flexible WIN Shift Pattern: 4 days on → 3 days off → 3 days on → 4 days off Only 7 workdays in a 14-day period Multiple extended breaks every month Predictable schedule for better work-life balance.

Position will perform functional testing of completed products. The position will be responsible for verifying conformance to all specified requirements. Duties Include, but are not limited to, physical inspection and functional inspection of electrical components, the operation of test bays/stations and associated equipment and troubleshooting and/or repairing faulty components. Position must assess product evaluation against NEC and UL/CSA standards. Review order write ups, operate components, ensure product quality, work with other areas to ensure product quality, and verify units to meet agency approvals. Other responsibilities as assigned.

• Uses basic hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, air tools, pliers, wire stripper, torque tools, crimping tools
