Job summary

Assured Quality Systems is hiring a Quality Inspector at our Whitakers, NC site. The role focuses on inspecting parts to meet customer specifications, recording data, and maintaining production standards throughout shifts. Safety PPE and steel toe boots are required, with full-shift availability on 1st or 2nd shifts.

The inspector will operate electronic equipment, measure with calipers and gauges, and report inspection results to ensure quality control across the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, bend, and lift at least 30 lbs.
• Attention to details to ensure product meets customer specs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Visually or physically inspect parts to see if they meet customer specifications and record the information.
• Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
• Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
• Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
• Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
• Operate electronic inspection equipment and software.
• Accept or reject finished items.
• Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
• Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected.

• Safety vest and other required PPE are required to be worn throughout the shift.
• Steel Toe boots are required

LOCATION:Whitakers, NC

SHIFTS:

• 1ST SHIFT: 6:00 AM -2:30 PM (or end of Production) Monday-Friday $18.00 per hour
• 2nd SHIFT:2:00 PM -10: 30 PM (or end of Production) Monday-Friday $18.25 per hour
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL SHIFT.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Steel Toe Boots are required
