Job summary

ESS Metron is hiring for a QC Incoming Inspector at three levels (I–III) to ensure parts and assemblies meet strict quality standards. The role spans incoming, in-process, and finished product inspections with documentation and nonconformance reporting.

You will perform dimensional and visual tests, coordinate with receiving and QA teams, and contribute to continuous improvement on the production floor. Strong attention to detail and safety are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience measuring electrical components in a manufacturing capacity or related field preferred.
• Experience utilizing Excel, Word, and Quality Management software to document quality readings and issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in a safe manner and promote a "Safety First" mentality across the team.
• Manage all quality pass and fail decision points for in-process and finished products.
• Perform quality checks in department to verify product meets standards.
• Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, etc., to ensure parts meet specs.
• Create nonconformance reports for parts that do not meet product specs.
• Inform management and production teams of rejected parts.
• Escalate non-compliances to QA management in a timely manner.
