Job Responsibilities:
CareStar is an established leader in the home and community-based healthcare industry and is seeking a Quality Improvement Supervisor to develop and implement continuous quality improvement activities across its programs and services. Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge and experience:
- Active License as RN, LSW, or LISW; OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Nursing, Social Services, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of program management or analysis experience in home and community-based services.
- Experience with continuous quality improvement principles, data analysis, and basic statistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Position Responsibilities
- Adhere to the CareStar rules in performance of job responsibilities.
- Understand and comply with CareStar policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality related to patient information; unlawful disclosures will be treated as serious disciplinary offenses.
- Follow the Acceptable Use Policy for CareStar's information systems.
- Supervise, manage, and oversee staff, including hiring, performance evaluations, salary recommendations, and development goals.
- Oversee quality improvement activities in assigned areas, including data collection, monitoring, and reporting.
- Lead or participate in committees related to quality improvement, staff education, and safety issues.
- Collaborate with Directors to review processes, measure performance, analyze data, and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement quality improvement tools such as audits, surveys, reviews, and data monitoring mechanisms.
- Monitor compliance with After-Hours requirements, review logs, and oversee incident reporting.
- Coordinate After Hours coverage and supervise related staff.
