Job summary

The Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist II independently supports moderately complex quality improvement initiatives and performance monitoring activities. This role analyzes clinical and operational data, supports multidisciplinary teams, and contributes to improvement efforts aligned with accreditation, regulatory, and public reporting requirements.

The Specialist II applies established quality improvement methodologies to drive measurable improvements within defined scopes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 1 year of professional experience in quality improvement, performance improvement, or healthcare analytics.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyzes clinical and performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Supports or leads components of quality improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and PDSA cycles.
• Develops and maintains dashboards and reports supporting internal monitoring and public reporting requirements (e.g., CMS, Joint Commission).
• Collaborates with clinical, operational, and quality stakeholders to interpret data and support implementation of improvement interventions.
