Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or Quality Management preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ healthcare experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with data management system and quality improvement tools preferred.
  • Proficient in administrating Incident Reporting Platform.
  • Experience working with community-based programs preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and with others in a positive and productive manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Facilitates, coordinates, and leads the Quality Program.
  • Performs data abstraction and reporting.
  • Oversight of patient and family experience with collaboration at the system level.
  • Serves as project manager to implement, monitor, and review departmental Quality Improvement projects.
  • Presents quality, safety and risk information at staff, Medical Staff and Board meetings.
  • Responsible for Medical Staff credentialling and ensures applications are completed in a timely manner.
  • Serves as Liaison to surveyors.
  • Ensures compliance as mandated and outlined by regulation.
  • Manages and reviews all incidents and assigns to appropriate leader.
  • Facilitates incident investigations.
  • Responsible for Annual Program Review.
  • Completes Community Health Needs Assessment.
  • Serves on designated committees.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
