Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Quality Improvement Coordinator RN to join our Fort Worth team. This role emphasizes improving care processes, patient outcomes, and the patient experience through interprofessional collaboration and standard PPI methods.

Required RN licensure with an acute care background; BSN strongly preferred, with BSN within two years of start. MATLAB-like statistical use and Joint Commission knowledge are assets in a MAGNET designated facility.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure upon hire.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing completed.
• BSN within two years of earliest start date in a Texas Health RN role required.
• BSN preferred OR Master’s in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of acute care experience.
• 1 year in healthcare quality/performance improvement preferred.
• CPHQ 3 years preferred.
• Microsoft Office skills; ability to apply statistical data.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission standards, PI tools, Lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Promote stakeholder engagement and interprofessional collaboration to improve care processes, patient outcomes, and patient experience.

• Use procedures to identify and report patient safety risks and events.
• Support continuous regulatory compliance as a subject matter expert.
• Monitor impact of value-based payment initiatives and quality report cards.
