Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Quality Improvement Nurse for a part-time role. The RN will review medical records, analyze performance data, and support performance improvement initiatives within the Quality & Safety Team.

Required: RN licensure and 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience; BSN encouraged; experience with CMS Core Measures and quality reporting systems; proficiency in MS Office and EHRs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of RN program required; BSN encouraged.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience; quality & performance improvement experience preferred.
• Experience with CMS Core Measures, Joint Commission measures, MassHealth quality programs and stroke/sepsis quality measures.
• Experience with electronic health records and quality reporting systems.
• Ability to interpret clinical documentation and measure specifications; strong data analysis and presentation skills.

This role identifies and reviews medical records against Key Performance Improvement indicators for internal and external review purposes. Reviews all work to ensure an accurate report of Winchester Hospital performance in these studies. Analyzes information and reports trends, patterns and/or variances and makes recommendations to Manager.
