Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Data Analyst within a Quality Improvement Department to collect, validate, analyze, and report on clinical and operational data. The role supports accreditation programs, quality benchmarking, and outcomes improvement initiatives, translating complex datasets into actionable insights for better patient care.

Remote work is available for residents of the United States (excluding certain states).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data-related field (e.g., Data Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, Public Health)
• Minimum 2 years of data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare or quality improvement
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint; proficient with Tableau or Power BI
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present data to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and validate clinical and administrative data from internal databases and datasets
• Perform quantitative and statistical analyses on surgical outcomes and quality metrics
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support QI program operations
• Ensure data integrity through audits and quality checks
• Design and produce performance reports, scorecards, and trend analyses for leadership and facilities
• Create interactive visualizations using Tableau/Power BI and translate findings for non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with QI staff, inspectors, and program managers to identify data needs
• Assist in preparing facility inspection reports and annual reviews
• Work with IT to ensure consistent data definitions and reporting standards
