Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Quality Improvement Coordinator RN to support performance improvement initiatives on a brand-new unit in Justin Tower. The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, data-driven care improvements and regulatory compliance.

You will pursue required certifications and licensure, develop skills, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and experiences in a Magnet hospital with strong culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Active RN licensure in Texas.
  • Associate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
  • Completion of BSN within two years of earliest start date in a Texas Health RN role is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred OR Master’s degree in health-related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of acute care experience.
  • 1 year in healthcare quality/performance improvement preferred.
  • CPHQ – certification 3 years preferred.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency; statistical data usage.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission standards, PI tools, Lean principles and statistics preferred.

  • Pursues/achieves/maintains required applicable certification and licensure.
  • Pursues professional growth and development of required knowledge and skills
  • Promote stakeholder engagement and interprofessional collaboration to improve care processes, patient outcomes, and patient experience.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences to support achievement of quality goals.
  • Implement standard performance and process improvement (PPI) methods.
  • Acquire data from source systems.
  • Use organizational procedures to identify and report patient safety risks and events.
  • Use knowledge of standards and regulations to facilitate and support continuous regulatory compliance, serving as a subject matter expert for others.
  • Monitor the impact of value-based payment initiatives and quality report cards

Here’s What You Need
  • Current RN licensure upon hire Required
  • Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
