Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Centers or Primary Health Care policies and procedures is desirable.
  • Strong Computer Competency.
  • Ability to work within a team-based structure.

Employment Status: Full-time Salaried – FSLA Exempt Status

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Studies the requirements and guidelines involved in creating office policy and procedures necessary for adherence to requirements for the UDS measures, PCMH, ACO, and Meaningful Use.
  • Ensures adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Uses the registry and other data analysis tools to create reports necessary for these entities.
  • Chairs the Quality Assurance Committee.
  • Conducts training to educate staff on quality standards, best practices, and process improvements.
  • Directs Patient Satisfaction Surveys and Provider Chart Reviews. Also, reviews patient feedback, addresses complaints, and implement strategies to improve satisfaction and safety.
  • Preforms audits, investigates non-conformance issues, and maintains documentation of quality processes.
  • Works closely with multidisciplinary teams, including managers, clinical staff, and external stakeholders, to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Uses quality improvement methodologies and AAAHC PDSA cycles to optimize workflows, reduce errors, and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitors for issues related to privacy and HIPPA compliance.
  • Serves as the HIPAA Privacy Officer.
  • Assists in investigation and resolution of quality-of-care complaints.
  • Works with CEO and CMO on developing clinical goals. Performs computer-based statistical analysis of data related to the Quality Improvement (QI) program.
  • Performs analysis to determine statistically significant trends in the data compared to standards and recognized benchmarks.
  • Evaluates reports for accuracy of data. Presents the QI report to the Board members at their monthly meeting in a clear and understandable manner utilizing appropriate visual aids.
  • Manage web portal messages.
  • Oversee Referral, Labs Orders, and Hospital Follow-ups for the organization.
  • Serves as director for Chronic Care Management services.
  • Leads and participates in special projects, as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Typical Working Conditions:
