Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in quality improvement and/or process improvement.
  • CPHQ, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, or PMP preferred.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with clinical leadership to design a quality improvement (QI) project portfolio to meet the hospital's strategic plan, service line goals, and compliance standards.
  • Assists with department or institution-wide projects and national collaboratives, utilizing project management and change management tools.
  • Uses data analysis and statistical process control to turn data into information that teams can use to make decisions affecting patient outcomes.
  • Assists teams in developing and implementing quality metrics.
  • Collaborates with clinicians to present and publish quality improvement work.
  • Uses the IHI Model for Improvement as the basis for quality improvement work.
  • Provides education and coaching for physicians and healthcare professionals in the IHI model.
  • Maintains knowledge level and ability related to continuous quality improvement through reviews, conferences, and networking.
