Job description

Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Flowtec is seeking a results-driven Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental (QSHE) Manager! As the QSHE Manager, you are responsible for leading the safety, health, environmental, and quality functions across all operations and locations, including field service, sales, and engineering, ensuring the highest standards.

You will provide leadership to develop and implement effective strategies, policies, and training that creates a culture of safety and excellence. As the QSHE Manager, you will also monitor compliance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement to fulfill our mission. You will be located in our Houston, Texas office and report to the President.

Additionally, you will:

  1. Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization through strong leadership and employee engagement.
  2. Foster collaborative relationships within the leadership team to ensure QHSE standards are integrated into business operations and decision-making.
  3. Implement proactive measures to reduce workplace accidents, injuries, and health-related issues, and track safety incidents, ensuring timely reporting and corrective actions.
  4. Maintain and develop sustainability programs, reporting environmental factors with a focus to minimize the organization’s environmental footprint, and ensuring compliance with laws.
  5. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive quality management system.
  6. Lead ISO audits to measure and adhere to QMS standards and ensure certification.
  7. Ensure product and service quality meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory standards using customer satisfaction indexes including net promoter score.
  8. Investigate customer complaints, non-conformities, root cause, and implement corrective actions as needed within the CPAR program.
  9. Continuously assess and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce quality-related costs.
  10. Develop and deliver QHSE training programs to employees across all levels of the organization.
  11. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement in QHSE practices.
  12. Manage a team within the QHSE function.

To excel in this role, you will have the following qualifications:

  1. A bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
  2. A minimum of seven years related experience, preferably within a sales and service organization.
  3. At least three years of supervisory experience.
  4. Experience working with quality systems and leading ISO audits.
  5. Certification to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and 45001:2018.
  6. Experience leading SHEQ initiatives across multiple teams and locations.
  7. A strong understanding of safety regulations, environmental laws, and quality assurance standards.
