Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Production Team Partner for the Pre-Tunnel Inspection Department. You will inspect garments as they move through the steam tunnel and help ensure quality for customers. On-the-job training is provided in a 5-day work week with weekends off.

Responsibilities include counting, hanging, inspecting garments, and adhering to safety and HACCP guidelines. Prior production experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent required or preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for an 8‑hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions using standard units.
• Lift up to 10 lbs and push up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Count garments.
• Hang garments to be processed through the steam tunnel.
• Visually inspect garments for tears, holes, stains, and damage.
• Ensure all garments pass the UniFirst 20-point inspection process.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by area supervisor or management.
