Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Quality & Food Safety Intern to support day‑to‑day objectives in a manufacturing environment. The role offers exposure to HACCP, lab methods, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple facilities.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a related Bachelor's or Master’s program with strong data skills and teamwork abilities. Location assignments will be at crush/refine, packaging, or grain elevator sites in Illinois, with relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to analyze data and summarize results in clear reports.
• Ability to execute tasks and follow through with proper documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day‑to‑day Quality & Food Safety objectives using the 70/20/10 governance.
• Work on a project with the QFS organization including validation and SOP development.
• Assist in audits and updates to Food Safety Plans and internal procedures.
• Analyze changes to processing conditions and their impact on finished products.
• Support training of operations staff on quality and production parameters.
