Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate required or as needed.
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work quickly and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is included in a meal and serve according to schedules.
• Ensure storage of food in a sanitary manner.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Prepare a variety of food items and beverages in a timely manner.
• Add garnishments to enhance appearance and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers and equipment.
• Follow food safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
• Adhere to uniform policy and workplace standards.
• Coordinate with the Manager to prepare daily menu.
