Job summary

Radius Packaging in New Berlin, WI is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect plastic components and uphold strict quality standards. You will perform in-process and final inspections, use calipers and gauges, and ensure compliance with GMP, ISO/FSSC, and customer specifications.

The role requires at least one year in manufacturing quality control, ability to work independently and in a team, and strong documentation discipline. Shifts are Monday–Friday nights with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment with quality control.
• Strong attention to detail to identify non-conformances.
• Ability to read and interpret customer specification sheets.
• English reading and writing proficiency.
• Able to operate calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• GMP, Food Safety and Food Quality regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Perform in-process and final inspections on plastic components.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges for measurements.
• Report nonconformance issues to Quality Leaders and Shift Supervisor.
• Initiate Quality Holds and manage notifications accurately.
• Interface with Production Leadership to contain nonconforming product.
• Assist with CAPA investigations and corrective actions.
• Audit molding processes and documentation for ISO/FSSC compliance.
• Support FAI and capability studies.
• Provide quality support during mold changes, startups and validations.
• Train operators and inspectors on quality standards.
• Maintain quality records including deviation logs.
• Float between departments to provide quality coverage as needed.
• Work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
• Support other teams with open tasks.
