Job summary

MSR-FSR LLC is seeking a Quality Technician to perform dimensional, visual, electrical, and mechanical inspections within the Manufacturing team, reporting to the QC Final Test Manager. The role emphasizes safety, quality, timely delivery, and efficiency across processes.

Responsibilities include inspecting incoming and in-process materials, documenting defects, coordinating NCRs, and supporting calibration activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree a plus.
• 3–5 years Prior experience as a technician role in quality, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, test, continuous improvement, or other related discipline
• Must have a basic understanding of ISO standards
• Familiarity with mathematics concepts such as geometry, trigonometry, ratios, fractions, and proportions
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Self-directed with strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate information across functional groups
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Experience in process-driven environments

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming and in-process quality inspections according to procedures.
• Coordinate and report defects using the Quality Database and NCRs.
• Implement inspection plans for internal and external sources and submit NCRs as needed.
• Audit service processes to ensure requirements are met and submit NCRs as needed.
• Assist Quality System Engineer with calibration tasks, especially torque wrench calibration.
• Interact with engineers, project managers, production workers, and stock personnel.
• Identify, document, and process conforming and non-conforming material.
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical inspections per procedures and product specs.
• Troubleshoot semiconductor testing activity discrepancies.
• Manage manufacturing test data for customer acceptance testing (ATL) when applicable.
• Interface with production/engineering on inspection results.
