Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Assistant Quality Manager to support the Site Quality Manager in driving quality excellence at our Utah facility. You will promote the QMS, lead training initiatives, and help manage metrics to ensure compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Quality or related field, 5+ years in quality systems, and 2+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in a Quality, Quality Assurance, or Quality Systems role.
2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
Experience supporting quality systems within a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience participating in internal, customer, and external audits.

Responsibilities

Support the Quality Assurance Manager in achieving departmental and organizational objectives.
Monitor Quality Department activities and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Manage quality performance metrics and drive corrective actions to improve results.
Develop, coordinate, and facilitate quality-related training programs.
Recruit, coach, develop, and support Quality Department personnel.
Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Promote the use of quality tools, methodologies, and best practices throughout the facility.
Support internal, customer, and third-party audits, ensuring timely closure of findings and corrective actions.
Lead and support CAPA activities, including root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable solutions.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, company procedures, and customer expectations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operational processes.
Comply with all safety, health, environmental, and security requirements.
