Job summary

Marquee Staffing is seeking a Quality Control / Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Escondido, CA. You will develop inspection programs for Nikon iNexiv, Mahr Profilometer, and Hexagon Vision/CMM, calibrate precision gages, and maintain VERIFICATION of Measurements documentation.

You will also support Gage R&R studies and train others on inspection methods. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in QC/Mechanical Inspection, strong metrology experience, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Quality Control / Mechanical Inspection experience.
• Strong experience with precision measuring equipment.
• cGMP/ISO experience in medical device or similar industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawings & GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Technical writing and Change Order experience.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing:

• Create & update inspection programs for Nikon iNexiv, Mahr Federal Profilometer, Hexagon Vision/CMM, and more
• Calibrate precision gages, including pin/plug, thread ring, and pressure gages
• Create & maintain Verification of Measurements (VMP) documentation
• Perform and support Gage R&R studies
• Train team members on inspection equipment and quality procedures
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and Change Orders
• Stay current on Quality Control technology, methods, and equipment

What You Bring:

• 5-10 years of Quality Control / Mechanical Inspection experience
• Strong experience with precision measuring equipment
• Vision System programming experience highly desired - iNexiv, Oasis, or Seebrez = BIG PLUS!
• Calibration experience with machine shop gages
• cGMP/ISO experience - medical device or similar industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of technical drawings & GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
• Technical writing and Change Order experience
• Proficiency with Word, Excel & Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
