Kimball Electronics is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to lead the Quality Engineering team. This role drives strategic and tactical direction to improve product quality, data-driven decisions, and customer satisfaction.
You will mentor engineers and technicians, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to ISO and IPC standards while supporting NPI and production quality improvements.

The Quality Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the Quality Engineering and Quality Engineering Technician within the KEJ facility. This position will provide the strategic and tactical direction to directly impact the day‑to‑day quality of our products. Work directly with a cross‑functional team to drive improvements to key metrics and customer satisfaction.
The person in this role will be working in a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Engineering Technicians to meet and exceed customer expectations for conducting New Product Introductions and sustaining current production. The Quality Engineering Manager position will include direct communications with the customer(s) and making data driven decisions to ensure quality product is a priority above all. To be successful the candidate must be self‑motivated, persistent, quality driven, a quick learner, possess good communication skills, have a positive attitude, and be able work independently, but be a team player. The Quality Engineering Manager will also help to mentor the other Quality Engineers and Quality Engineering Technicians.
