Job summary

Unigen is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager based in Newark, CA, onsite. You will lead the Quality Engineering organization across PCBA and Box Build operations, driving quality excellence and compliance with IPC standards and customer requirements.

You will manage customer quality activities, audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement while collaborating with operations, engineering and quality teams to enhance manufacturing performance and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of quality experience within an EMS manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience in quality.
• Proven success leading corrective action programs and quality system compliance.
• Strong experience supporting PCBA and Box Build operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Engineering organization across PCBA and Box Build manufacturing.
• Oversee customer quality, internal processes, and supplier quality initiatives.
• Drive CAPA, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with customers, operations, and engineering to improve quality metrics.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects and reduce COPQ and scrap.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, and IATF 16949.
