CaptiveAire Systems, Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager for our West Union, IA manufacturing facility to lead plant-wide quality initiatives and ensure products meet standards.

You will drive continuous improvement, oversee QA personnel, and proactively address internal and external quality issues to exceed customer expectations. The role emphasizes Kaizen culture, QA/QC program development, and leadership of QEs and QA techs, with a base salary plus monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• 2-10 yrs experience in a quality or manufacturing environment.
• 4-year technical degree in mechanical or quality-oriented curriculum.
• Exceptional root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities to review systems and identify flaws.
• Familiarity with lean management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to hold others accountable and execute projects on time.
• Capable of visualizing and implementing new projects across the entire facility.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to operate with deadlines and maintain standards.
• Desire to deliver perfect product quality while ensuring safety.

Responsabilités

• Ensure internal and external quality exceeds customers’ expectations.
• Instill a quality-minded culture with focus on continuous improvement and Kaizen.
• Oversee analysis of all internal and external quality issues for their facility to identify and improve shortfalls.
• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures to mitigate and prevent issues.
• Investigate plant quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Verify products are built to standards set by R&D and detailed in work instructions.
• Oversee and manage all Quality engineers, Product Quality inspectors and Quality Techs.
• Assist QEs and QTechs with issues not resolved by standard means.
• Schedule and arrange quality training for new and existing employees.
• Schedule, perform and analyze quality audits and product reviews.
• Manage ECN rollout to plant lines and ensure proper implementation.
• Implement PCIs, SNCRs, DRs and enforce KQPs within the plant.
• Audit and provide feedback to industrial engineering on work instructions.
