Job summary

Crystal Group in Hiawatha, IA is seeking an Intern, Quality Engineer to support Quality Engineering and QMS tasks on-site. You will learn through hands-on activities like FAI documentation, nonconformance handling, MRB tasks, and data analysis within a manufacturing and aerospace context.

You will review drawings and specs, assist with PFMEA/Control Plans, collect objective evidence, and participate in continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS degree in engineering or related field.
• US Person status required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with First Article Inspection (FAI) activities examining drawings and specs.
• Support nonconforming material processes and MRB actions with data collection.
• Participate in containment and corrective action activities and follow-up.
• Provide quality support to manufacturing and inspection teams with evidence.
• Assist with internal audits, drawing/spec reviews, and risk-based activities.
