Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is offering a quality internship focused on overall process and product quality responsibility. The intern will interact with supplier quality, manufacturing, and quality department staff to uphold high standards and assist in problem solving. Travel may be required as part of the role.

Applicants are students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in related fields with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and proficiency in MS Office; accommodations are available per policy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications: Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations Management/Business Administration, or a related field for entire duration of internship.
  • GPA 3.0 or greater required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Review and update quality documentation.
  • Participate in group and team meetings and quality audits.
  • Assist in problem solving and implementing solutions to quality related problems.
  • Dispositional support for defective material and supplier quality.
  • Travel as required and complete additional training as needed.
