Job summary

Integress, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer III to lead end-to-end quality activities across engineering, manufacturing, and product support.

You will drive process improvements and deliver high-quality products for KRI customers in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a strong background in robotics or semiconductor equipment, expertise in reliability modeling, and hands-on experience with GR&R, HALT, HASS, and related testing methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 5–7 years in Quality Engineering.
• Robotics and/or semiconductor equipment background.
• Knowledge of GR&R, HALT, HASS, F47, ESD, EMC, ISTA testing.
• Proficient in data collection and interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drives quality at product and process level to deliver high-quality products for customers.
• Investigates product failures, determines root cause, containment, corrective actions.
• Collaborates with engineering, program management, and supply chain on defect resolution.
• Performs error code analysis, data compilation, analysis and reporting.
• Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical failures; reports findings.
• Performs failure analysis and drives 8Ds to closure.
• Analyzes NC trends, yield, and quality metrics; creates scorecards.
• Initiates CIP and process improvement projects aligned with org. vision.
• Creates and updates work instructions and quality procedures.
• Uses lean tools (e.g., VSM) to identify issues and solutions.
• Conducts internal and external factory audits.
• Leads cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
• Writes reports and presents project status.
• Interacts with customers on deliverables and manages programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Quality Engineer III works with stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing and product support to spearhead end-to-end product quality activities and process improvement initiatives.

Core Role Responsibilities

• Drives quality at the product & process level ensuring the delivery of high-quality products for KRI customers
• Investigates product failures, determines root cause, generates containment, plans and implements corrective actions
• Collaborates with engineering, customer program management, and supply chain on quality defect resolution
• Performs error code analysis and troubleshooting, data compilation, analysis and presentation
• Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical failures and malfunctions and reports findings
• Performs failure analysis and drives 8Ds to closure
• Analyzes NC trends, yield, QPPM and generates quality scorecards
• Initiates CIPs and process improvement projects and completes them in alignment with org. vision.
• Analyzes current and future needs & generates/releases relevant work instructions and quality procedures.
• Analyzes identified processes in detail using lean tools (i.e. VSM) to identify problem areas and potential solutions.
• Conducts internal and external factory audits
• Executes and completes special projects as required
• Supports and lead process improvement activities in cross-functional environments to help improve quality
• Writes reports and present project status
• Interfaces with customers on deliverables and manages programs
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

a. Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 5-7 years experience in Quality Engineering
• Strong background in robotics and/or semiconductor equipment
• Strong knowledge of reliability modeling and apportionment
• Solid understanding of GR&R, HALT, HASS, F47, ESD, EMC, and ISTA testing
• Proficient with instrumentation and computer tools for data collection
• Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong project management skills
• Previous knowledge in digital system development building process workflows, tasks, and notifications
• Excellent communication, adaptability, organization & time management skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders

b. Preferred

• Master’s degree in Engineering
• CQE and CRE Certification
• Ability to speak and/or read Japanese
• Solid understanding of the SEMI standards
• Certification in MES, Six Sigma Black Belt, Digital Manufacturing & Design Technology (DM&DT)
• Expert in quality engineering with background in QMS implementation, improvements and rollout

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
• Ability to travel up to 5% domestically and/or internationally
• Able to carry, lift, push, pull, stand, bend, walk and work on/around moving mechanical parts for long periods of time
• Attendance is a requirement of this position
