Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando seeks an Associate Manager - Program Quality Engineer to lead a team of Quality Engineers and drive critical quality activities across programs.

You will oversee FRBs/MRBs, perform root-cause analysis, mentor staff, and contribute to risk management, design reviews, and first-article inspections while supporting proposal efforts.

You will be the Associate Manager - Program Quality Engineer for the Program Quality Team. Our team is responsible for leading quality initiatives, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance across the program.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Associate Manager - Program Quality Engineer you will be responsible for providing leadership to a team of Quality Engineers and overseeing critical quality activities

• Lead Failure Review Boards (FRBs) and Material Review Boards (MRB) with full authority.
• Drive root-cause and corrective-action analysis for yield improvement.
• Mentor and train team members, manage work assignments, and assess performance.
• Lead risk-mitigation activities, design reviews, and first-article inspections.
• Support proposal development and Basis of Estimates (BOE) inputs.

Basic Qualifications

• STEM degree or equivalent experience / combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
• Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
• Ability to develop a vision for the team or an organization and develop and implement tactical actions to achieve the vision.
• Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with strong skills in AS9100 certification and compliance requirements.
• Process improvement / process control experience.
• Understanding of quality, procurement, operations, and risk management processes.

• Previous Quality experience, interpreting and applying contractual and AS9100 / ISO90001 requirements.

• Ability to travel 25-50% of time to domestic sites may be required as well as overtime to support production and customer milestones.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
