• Provide quality resources for proposals, contract reviews, production start-up, life-cycle support, and production transition.
• Detail understanding of quality tasks for production hardware, systems, suppliers, inspections, and customer support.
• Interface with Production Operations, Program Management, Engineering, and DCMA.

THE WORK

• Leads the RMS Product Quality Assurance (PQA) organization reporting to the Naval Combat and Missiles Defense Systems (NCMDS) and Radar and Sensor Systems (RSS) Production Operations Quality Manager.
• Primary responsibilities include Product QA oversight, support of Production of VLS, support of other SCSS and NC&MDS programs, providing functional support for analysis of quality data to drive overall process quality improvements, facilitation of root cause analysis, driving containment activities, performing process audits and mentoring the current Quality team.
• The Asc. Quality Manager will provide Quality resources for supporting proposals, contract reviews, production start-up support, development, transition to production, production, and life-cycle support.
• This position will require a detailed understanding of quality tasks as they pertain to production hardware, systems, suppliers/subcontractors, inspections, and customer support.
• Interface with other functions and key stakeholders/customers including Production Operations, Program Management, Engineering, and DCMA.

The candidate will provide leadership to the Product Quality team (approximately 11) individuals at the Moorestown site which includes Quality Engineers.

• Experienced leader in various Quality, Operations, and/or Program Management positions with increasing responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities and provide succinct direction in a dynamic business environment.
• Demonstrated track record of working with multiple customers and forming strong internal and external customer relationships.
• Ability to balance teaming and flexibility while maintaining independence and ensuring process adherence.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and drive change. Strong working knowledge of problem solving/root cause analysis and process management.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
