Job summary

AdvancedPCB is seeking a Quality Engineering Technician in Santa Clara, CA to support quality systems, document control and final QC activities. The role requires ensuring compliance with AS9100, UL and related standards while handling RMA processes and audits.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years experience in PCB/manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient reading/writing/speaking English.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

  • RMA process management.
  • Conduct internal audits and follow-up corrective actions.

  • Manage outside lab submissions.
  • Support final QC for production and/or rework.

Description

Scope: Provide Quality Engineering Technician support, manages the operation of the document control center to ensure adherence to AS9100, UL and applicable regulatory standards.

Essential Job Function:
  • RMA Process Management
  • Conduct internal audits and manage follow-up corrective actions.
  • Support AS9102 First Article requirements and documentation.
  • Manage Outside Lab Submissions
  • Support Final QC for production and/or Rework
  • Support Final QC on RMA Products
  • Participate in Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) investigations and processes. Maintain and administer document control functions.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Printed Circuit Board or similar manufacturing environment required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Excellent Multitasking, Prioritization and Organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player
Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting at a desk working on a computer for extended periods of time
  • Walking on uneven surfaces
  • Bending at the head and neck
  • Bending at the waist
