Job summary

Hyve Solutions, a part of TD SYNNEX, is seeking a Quality Engineering Technician to support the Quality Management System. You will coordinate nonconformance activities, MRB processes, and quality improvement initiatives across Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality teams to ensure standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include NCR dispositions, MRB coordination, NCR aging monitoring, NCR escalation management, ESD audits, and calibration of inspection equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a quality department.
• At least 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably in the quality department.
• Inspection experience.
• ISO auditing experience or knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 1400.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, esp. Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication.
• Interpersonal, organizational, teamwork, customer service and dependability.
• ESD standards awareness and routine audits.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and coordinate MRB meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse and Procurement to support disposition activities and material purge.
• Monitor NCR aging, status, and closure metrics; provide updates to management.
• Manage NCR escalations and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve NCR workflow efficiency and system effectiveness.
• Perform calibration activities on inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
• Assist with 8D problem-solving initiatives and corrective action implementation.
• Work knowledge of ESD standards; perform routine ESD audits for compliance.

Job Overview:

The Quality Engineering Technician supports the Quality Management System by coordinating nonconformance activities, facilitating Material Review Board (MRB) processes, and assisting with quality improvement initiatives. This position works cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.

• Facilitate and coordinate regular MRB meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Procurement teams to support disposition activities and material purge processes.
• Monitor NCR aging, status, and closure metrics and provide regular updates to management.
• Manage NCR escalations and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve NCR workflow efficiency and system effectiveness.
• Perform calibration activities on inspection, measurement, and test equipment as required.
• Assist with 8D problem-solving initiatives and corrective action implementation.
• Working knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) standards, with the ability to conduct routine ESD audits to ensure compliance with facility controls, equipment grounding, and handling procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a quality department
• At least 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably in the quality department
• Inspection experience
• ISO auditing experience or knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 1400
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications including outlook, Word, excel and Power point with strong bias towards Excel
• Excellent attention to detail. Ability to focus throughout working day
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
