Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Quality Engineer with strong Selenium automation and Python scripting skills to design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks. The role focuses on ETL and Data Warehouse validation, SQL-based data checks, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced banking/FS environment.

You will participate in Agile ceremonies, help validate large data pipelines, and support release validation and production deployment testing.

Qualifications

5 to 8 years of Software Testing/QA experience.
Hands-on Selenium Testing experience.
Python scripting for automation.
ETL and Data Warehouse testing experience.
Strong SQL skills with Oracle database.
Unix/Linux experience.
Hive data validation experience.
Familiar with STLC and Defect Life Cycle.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium and Python.
Create and run automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Validate ETL processes and data migrations across systems.
Perform Data Warehouse testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and data engineers to resolve defects.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and reporting.
