Atomic HR is seeking a senior QA engineer to lead automated testing across API, UI, and pipeline layers in a fully remote U.S.-based team. You will define testing strategy, build end-to-end journeys, and partner with delivery teams to ensure “done” means high quality and reliable releases.
You will write plain-language summaries for non-engineers, coordinate with customer-facing teams, and push back on risky release dates with evidence.
Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS company helping frontline workers access life-changing benefits like childcare, elder care, and nutrition assistance. Their AI-powered platform connects employees to available government programs—cutting through complexity and delivering support where it matters most.
Used by major retailers, healthcare providers, and Fortune 500 companies, the product is trusted to handle sensitive workflows in regulated environments. The fully remote team is mission-driven, pragmatic, and growing quickly, with strong enterprise backing and a clear expansion path. The product has grown into a web app, connections to outside systems and AI chat features, so each release now needs someone who can say whether it’s ready, with evidence. New federal Medicaid rules start January 1, 2027, and the team is building tools that help states keep eligible people covered through them. You’ll start by building the automated tests and the ready-to-ship check for the releases closest to that date. You decide where the risk is, which team needs you most, and what “done” means.
