Gestamp is seeking a Quality Engineer in New Mexico to own product and process quality across lifecycles. You will lead quality planning, process validation, and customer satisfaction initiatives to achieve continuous improvement.

The role requires ensuring compliance with customer requirements, validating welding processes, and maintaining PPAP documentation while upholding PFMEAs, Control Plans, and process flow charts.

Formación

• BS in Engineering or related field plus 2 years quality experience in stamping/robotic assembly.
• AS in Engineering Technology plus 4 years experience in stamping/robotic assembly.
• 7+ years experience in a similar role and environment.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and SPC.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, ISO/TS, and problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Review and deploy customer-specific requirements and ensure process compliance at all times.
• Maintain oversight of quality performance, risks, requirements, and corrective actions.
• Verify welding parameters, qualifications, validations, and process controls per standards.
