Job summary

Vulcan Elements is seeking a Quality Engineer to establish robust quality processes at the Pilot manufacturing facility in Four Oaks, NC, with an eventual move to Benson, NC. You will partner with Manufacturing, R&D, Process Engineering, and Analytical Lab to drive process improvements and implement digital quality systems.

This role focuses on production quality planning, CTQ definitions, control plans, and cross-functional collaboration to support scalable manufacturing for future facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• ISO 9001 quality system knowledge essential.
• Experience with SOPs, work instructions, and manufacturing docs.
• Strong root-cause analysis and CAPA capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Pilot manufacturing quality support across operations.
• Ensure quality requirements are understood and applied daily.
• Lead investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Review nonconforming material with Engineering and Operations.
• Develop quality procedures, forms, and records.
