Job summary

Solventum in Brookings, SD is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Medical Technologies business at the Brookings plant. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements, disposition non-conforming product, and lead root-cause investigations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and strong communication, data analysis, and project leadership skills. On-site work at Brookings is expected with potential for limited travel; relocation may be considered where

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

• Supporting the Medical Technologies business; the Brookings plant’s only make-to-order business and representing the customer in the manufacturing setting.
• Engaging peers and working cross functionally to support the product line and drive prioritized projects.
• Dispositioning non-conforming product and addressing root cause of non-conformance.
• Identifying opportunities and leading product teams in quality and service improvements.
• Analyzing non-conforming trends in respective value streams to identify opportunities for improvement.

Your Skills and Expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)

Benefits and Compensation

The expected compensation range for this position is $71,200 - $97,900, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
