Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney team in Jupiter, FL is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to develop and maintain AS9100/9110 compliant QMS, lead audits, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing, assembly, inspection and test processes.

You will review FAI's, issue Quality Notifications, train teams on QMS practices, and track metrics to prevent defects and ensure regulatory compliance. This onsite role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to influence aerospace quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field with 5+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Ability to attain and maintain Secret Clearance.
• Familiarity with aerospace quality standards AS9100/AS9102 and ISO9001.

• Develop processes and work instructions for AS9100/9110 QMS.
• Perform QMS audits, reviews, and approve FAI's.

What You Will Do:

• Develop processes, procedures and work instruction in support of AS9100/9110 compliant QMS.
• Perform process, work instruction, and AS9100 / 9110 audit / reviews.
• Review and approve FAI's.
• Issue and close Quality Notifications (QN's).
• Lead in DAISE, Problem Resolution Team (PRT), and audit close out reviews to ensure issue recurrence elimination.
• Improve manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and test processes to reduce and prevent defects and prevent quality escapes to our customers.
• Develop and deliver QMS training to the inspection and operations teams.
• Support the continuous improvement activities.
• Interface with various groups and to resolve technical/quality issues.
• Track and trend quality metrics / Corrective Action Board (CAB).
• Quality Stamp control.
• Variation control and closure.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Ability to attain and maintain Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications to include MS Word, Access, Power Point and Excel.
• Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, ISO9001.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Military engine experience.
• Familiar with typical operations in an aerospace engine overhaul and repair environment, experience working with partnerships.
• SAP experience.
• Could require up to 10% travel.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
