Job summary

Salcomp Manufacturing USA is seeking a Quality Engineer in Arlington, TX to ensure product and process quality align with customer requirements and internal standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain the QMS, support NPI, and drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. Relevant experience and ISO 9001 knowledge are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering or manufacturing quality role.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC.

Responsibilities

• Quality Management & Compliance: Support Quality Manager in QA objectives and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Quality Systems & Product Development: Assist APQP activities for NPI and maintain Control Plans, Process Flows, and DFMEA/PFMEA.
• Production Quality Assurance: Support QA for manual to automated assembly, monitor SPC for stability and capability, participate in MRB and scrap reduction.
• Customer Quality Support: Assist in SCAR and PPAP submissions, investigate complaints, prepare quality reports and dashboards, support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
