Job summary

Nolte Precise Manufacturing, Inc. (An MRA Member) in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Quality Engineer to design, document, and sustain robust quality plans ensuring customer, regulatory, and industry requirements are met across manufacturing.

The role bridges customer requirements, engineering intent, and shop-floor execution by translating prints and specs into practical inspection and control plans for right-first-time manufacturing. Strong metrology and GD&T expertise required.

Qualifications

Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, GD&T and tolerance schemes.
Experience translating customer specifications into inspection plans.
Solid understanding of metrology and measurement system analysis.
Experience with CNC turning and milling and how it affects inspection strategy.
Working knowledge of CMM programming/inspection (PC-DMIS).
Experience with SPC, capability analysis, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Lead quality planning during New Product Introduction (NPI) translating requirements into inspection plans and control strategies.
Review drawings, specs, and contractual requirements to define inspection methods and acceptance criteria.
Perform PFMEA and control plan development to identify critical characteristics and inspection points.
Design and support gage/fixture development when needed; validate inspection methods with data.
Define gage R&R, capability studies, and ongoing monitoring requirements.
