Job summary

LM Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead the New Product Launch process, evaluate documentation, and guide Quality Technicians under the Quality Manager. You will drive PPAPs, DOE studies, and ensure compliance with FMVSS and safety policies.

This role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and at least five years in automotive quality, with strong communication, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of quality engineering experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience managing customers and suppliers through New Product Launch and documentation (PPAP, 8D, PSO, FEMAs).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate completion and evaluation of PPAPs.
• Complete 8-Ds and 5S as required by MSD customers.
• Coordinate PSO submissions.
• Conduct DOE studies as required.
• Assist in tracking engineering changes.
• Ensure compliance to FMVSS standards on all products.
• Create and maintain control plans.
• Lead and mentor Quality Technicians.
